Mark Mclaughlin Owner, Manager Mark started at this location in 1980. At that time the store was called Larry's Spoke and Pedal. In the spring of 1984, Mark purchased the store and changed the name to Bicycles Unlimited. First a large remodel was done and the inventory size was increased. Since then the shop has had continued growth with two additional remodels. Mark was interested in cycling from an early age. As a young teenager Mark would ride hours after school each day and was always upgrading parts. His first real bike was a Schwinn Continental. This was considered a light road bike for its time and all the parts were from Europe. It weighed 39 lbs, that's 17 lbs more than the Full Suspension Mountain Bike he owns today. |
